Margaret Mulholland

Margaret Mulholland is Director of Development & Research at Swiss Cottage School, Camden and leads the Swiss Cottage Teaching School Alliance of mainstream and special schools. Currently, Margaret is the SEND Representative on the Universities’ Council for the Education of Teachers (UCET) Executive Committee. She is also the SEND rep for ASCL Council, The Association of School and College Leaders.

Previously she championed school-led ITT at the Institute of Education for Secondary, Primary and SEND and was School Partnerships Lead for the Secondary PGCE.

Subsequent to the Carter Review, Margaret was selected to join two DfE independent expert groups to develop framework proposals for ITT Content and Behaviour. She advocates for the role SEND settings can play to improve understanding of inclusive pedagogy for all teachers.
