As part of Hokusei Gakuen University’s module called ‘ForeignGetAttachment.aspxaffairs’, the L-Net planned and facilitated ‘Cultural exchange programme with the students from the University of London’. The programme aims to enhance students’ cultural understanding through communicating with  local university students from London.

On 18 March at the Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation, 15 students from Hokusei Gakuen, whose majors were economics, social warefare and psychology (applied communication), met law and medical science students from University College London to exchange ideas on socio-cultural topics including university life, employment and welfare. Through the comparison of the issues and challenges faced by Japan and the UK, the students learned both similarities and differences, and advantages and disadvantages in relation to each topic.
